Another Way Out

Three generations of LGBT Canadians talk about their life journeys - being bullied, coming out, and coming into their own. Stark black and white visuals highlight these candid, eloquent self-portraits. Anna Gutmanis’ powerful song “Another Way Out” provides the soundtrack. Winner of the 2014 "Best Short Documentary" Award at QCinema Texas.

Award-Winning Writer-Director Simone Stock earned an Honors BA from the University of Toronto. From there, it was on film sets in Toronto that Simone really cut her teeth working with numerous industry legends including Art Linson (FIGHT CLUB, HEAT), Liam Neeson (SCHINDLER’S LIST, STAR WARS-PHANTOM MENACE) and Anne Bancroft (THE GRADUATE).
